About Vedic Astrology
Jyotisha (vedic astrology) from jyotis- "light,
heavenly body": also anglicized Jyotisha is the Hindu system of astrology (also known
as Indian astrology, Hindu astrology, and of late, Vedic astrology).
Traditionally, it has three branches: actually the word jyotisha which belongs
to the Vedangas. There are six Vedangas: Shiksha (phonetics), Kalpa (rituals),
Vyakarana (grammar), Jyotishya (astronomy), Nirukta (etymology) and Chhandas
(metrics). These are mentioned in the Upanishads. Nirukta has explained as
dhyotiti yat tat jyotihi jyotisham i.e. which enlightens us that type of a
flame a Jyoti that is Jyotisha.

Vedic Yantras are geometrical line structure. These have been presented to us by our great Rishis. These Yantras represent basic energies. In other words Vedic Yantras are the graphic representations of Mantras. The Vedic Yantras are designed to remove the afflictions to obtain a particular result. The Yantras are inscribed with the mystical inscriptions of the afflicted beneficial planets at a particularly auspicious time to suit the individual wearer and It is auspicious and blesses the native with success and wealth.
